Sulfuric Acid Oleum from Japan
Oleum, or fuming sulfuric acid (H2SO4 + SO3), is a highly corrosive liquid used in sulfonation processes. It falls under HTS 2811.19.61 as an other inorganic acid of nonmetals, distinct from standard sulfuric acid in 2807. This classification applies to its concentrated, oxygen-rich form per Chapter 28.
