Propane is a flammable hydrocarbon gas commonly used for heating, cooking, and as a vehicle fuel, supplied in gaseous state under pressure. It falls under HTS 2711.29.00 as a petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbon that is neither liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) nor natural gas, nor ethylene, propylene, butane, or butylene. This classification applies to propane in its gaseous form at import.
