No. 2 fuel oil is a distillate fuel oil derived from petroleum refining, used primarily for heating buildings and as a diesel engine fuel. It meets HTS 2710.19.11 criteria as it tests 25 degrees A.P.I. or more and contains over 70% petroleum oils as the basic constituent, excluding biodiesel and waste oils.
