Residue slag generated during petroleum refining processes, containing vanadium compounds and trace metals but not advanced in value. Classified under HTS 2620.99.7520 as vanadium bearing material that is a residue not treated for metal recovery and meets copper/lead/zinc content limits. Used in industry for potential vanadium extraction.
Vanadium Ash from Boiler Combustion
Ash residue from industrial boiler combustion of heavy fuel oils, bearing vanadium oxides and minor metals, unprocessed. Fits HTS 2620.99.7520 as other vanadium bearing residues not advanced in condition or value, suitable for metal extraction. Excludes municipal waste incineration ash.
Vanadium Dust from Fuel Oil Processing
Fine dust collected from fuel oil desulfurization containing vanadium compounds, unbeneficiated residue. Classified in HTS 2620.99.7520 for vanadium bearing materials not treated for Cu/Pb/Zn recovery. Basis for industrial vanadium or compound production.
Vanadium Bearing Catalyst Residue
Spent catalyst residue containing vanadium from chemical processing, not further treated or refined. Under HTS 2620.99.7520 as vanadium bearing material residue, with metals below recovery thresholds, used for extraction in industry. Meets chapter note for industrial metal recovery use.
Vanadium Sludge from Oil Refinery Wastewater
Settled sludge from oil refinery wastewater treatment bearing vanadium and trace arsenic/metals, not valorized. HTS 2620.99.7520 applies to this unprocessed residue for potential metal/compound manufacture. Complies with chapter exclusion for iron/steel origins.
