Vanadium Slag from Petroleum Refining
Slag residue generated during petroleum refining processes, primarily containing vanadium compounds along with traces of other metals. Classified under HTS 2620.99.1000 because it is a non-steel slag rich in vanadium, used for metal extraction or chemical manufacturing as per Chapter Note (a). The high vanadium assay makes it suitable for industrial recovery.
Vanadium-Rich Ash from Catalyst Regeneration
Ash produced from regenerating spent petroleum cracking catalysts, predominantly containing vanadium oxides. Falls under HTS 2620.99.1000 as other residues (non-steel) used in industry for vanadium extraction per Chapter Note (a). Not from municipal incineration.
Spent Catalyst Slag High in Vanadium
Slag from spent catalysts in oil refining, assaying over 5% vanadium, suitable for recovery. Under 2620.99.1000 as other slag/residues containing mainly vanadium for industrial extraction.
