Crocidolite Asbestos Rock from China
Crocidolite, or blue asbestos, is a fibrous amphibole mineral mined primarily from South Africa and Australia, appearing as blue needle-like fibers in rock matrix. Classified under HTS 2524.90.00 as 'other asbestos,' it is the most hazardous form due to its carcinogenicity. Historically used in insulation but now strictly controlled.
