Raw Beet Sugar Quota Import from China
Raw beet sugar in solid form with sucrose content corresponding to a polarimeter reading of 99.5 degrees or higher, imported under the quota provisions of additional U.S. note 5 to chapter 17. This tariff item applies specifically to beet sugar entered within the annual quantitative limits set by the Secretary of Agriculture, typically for domestic refining. It excludes sugar with added flavoring or coloring.
