Refined hake liver oil comes from the livers of hake fish (Merluccius species) and is used in nutritional supplements for its high vitamin content. It qualifies for HTS 1504.10.40.00 as an 'other' fish-liver oil fraction, refined but chemically unmodified. Distinct from body oils or chemically treated products.
