These peanuts are whole or broken but remain raw and fit the 'other' category under HTS 1202.42.6040 due to quota-specific entry requirements.

Import Tips
• Obtain peanut import license from USDA FAS before shipment to meet additional U.S. note 2 quota requirements
• Provide certificate of origin and varietal purity documentation proving shelled status and non-roasted condition
• Avoid misclassification as in-shell peanuts (1202.42.4040) which have separate quota limits; inspect for shell fragments
