Fine Oat Groats Meal
Fine oat groats meal is fragmented oat grains ground to pass 95% through 1.25mm sieve, qualifying under 1103.19 as oat meal per legal definition, with starch >80% and ash <5%. Borderline fineness but not flour, for premium baking blends.
Toasted Oat Groat Pieces
Toasted oat groat pieces undergo fragmentation then light toasting, retaining 1103 status as 95% passes 1.25mm sieve with qualifying starch/ash. Processing doesn't alter cereal meal classification under Chapter 11 notes.
Organic Oatmeal Groats
Organic oatmeal groats are certified fragmented oats meeting all 1103 sieve, starch, and ash criteria without synthetic inputs. Classification unchanged by organic status, remaining plain cereal meal of oats.
