Frozen Field Peas from Mexico

Frozen field peas (Pisum sativum arvense) are mature shelled peas frozen for use in stews and casseroles. Classified in HTS 0710.21.40.00 as other frozen peas, they are tougher than garden varieties. Preservation is achieved through boiling or steaming prior to freezing.
