Frozen Snow Peas from China
Frozen snow peas (Pisum sativum var. saccharatum) are flat-podded peas, unshelled, blanched and frozen whole. They qualify for HTS 0710.21.20.00 during July 1-September 30 as frozen leguminous vegetables of the pea species. Used in Asian cuisine for their crisp texture when stir-fried.
