Frozen shelled black-eyed peas (Pisum sativum subspecies, field peas) are leguminous seeds blanched and frozen for preservation. Entered under HTS 0710.21.20.00 July-September as frozen peas, distinct from southern U.S. cowpeas sometimes misclassified. Common in soul food dishes post-thawing.
