Fresh Armenian Cucumbers from China
Armenian cucumbers, or yard-long cucumbers, are thin, ribbed, mild-flavored fruits imported fresh or chilled for ethnic markets. Under HTS 0707.00.50.85 for seasonal 'other' entries, as they are botanically cucumbers but not gherkins. Used in Middle Eastern and Asian cuisines for fresh slicing.

Import Tips
• Include botanical confirmation in invoices if challenged, as shape may confuse with melons (0807)
• Seasonal entry critical; use calendar verification to avoid general rate under 0707.00.40
• Ensure no wax coating, as coated produce may require different treatment or reclassification
