Shredded fresh carrots are carrots grated or julienned into thin strips, reduced in size for salads or cooking, sold chilled. Under HTS 0706.10.05.00 for size-reduced fresh/chilled carrots, as shredding constitutes size reduction without preservation. Common in pre-washed salad kits.
