Dried blood meal is animal blood collected from slaughterhouses, dried and powdered for its high nitrogen content. Chiefly incorporated into ruminant feeds and pet foods as a protein supplement. Under HTS 0511.99.30 due to its origin as a byproduct unfit for human food.
