Large, thick cuts from the back of fresh or chilled bigeye tuna (Thunnus obesus), often called loins, used for high-end steak production. Classified under HTS 0302.34.00.00 as they are not separated into fillets or other fish meat of heading 0304; loins remain part of whole fish presentation. Common in Hawaiian poke markets.
