Import Tips
• Obtain USFWS permits if considered game animals; hares face stricter wildlife regs than rabbits
• Ensure hares are captively bred, not wild-caught, to avoid CITES Appendix listings
• Provide enclosure plans for post-import inspection, as hares require more space
