Hot-rolled, irregularly wound coils of DIN 1.2379 cold work tool steel (X153CrMoV12), containing 1.55% carbon, 12% chromium, 0.6% molybdenum and 0.5% vanadium. This alloy steel is not stainless (chromium above 10.5% but carbon above 1.2%) and is classified as other alloy steel under heading 72.27. The coils are untreated and not further worked, making them suitable for subsequent drawing or forging into tools.
