1.4435 Austenitic Alloy Steel Plate from Germany
DIN 1.4435 is an austenitic stainless steel plate (316L equivalent), hot-rolled, with thickness 4.75 mm or more and width 600 mm or more, not in coils. Although stainless, it is classified as other alloy steel under 7225.40.00 when not meeting stainless steel definitions in Chapter 72. It is not further worked than hot-rolled.
