Electrolytic Chrome Coated Steel (ECCS) for Ends from Japan

Electrolytic chrome coated steel (ECCS) sheets, less than 0.5 mm thick, of non-alloy steel and 600 mm or more in width, with a metallic chromium coating for can closures. While often referred to as tin-free steel, this product is coated with chromium, not tin, and may be classified under this item if it meets the description of plated or coated with tin. However, if the chromium coating is the primary coating, classification under a different heading may be more appropriate.
