Andalusite Refractory Tile from Germany
Andalusite refractory tiles are fired from andalusite ore to produce a product with excellent thermal shock resistance, ideal for torpedo ladle linings in steel plants. The tiles are shaped and fired to withstand rapid temperature changes and slag attack. They are classified under tariff item 6902.90.00 as refractory ceramic constructional goods other than those of siliceous fossil meals.
