Plastic coated tent fabric is a man-made fibre tent material coated with plastics, where the plastic content exceeds 60% by weight, providing waterproofing for camping and events. The coating is visible to the naked eye and the fabric remains flexible, meeting the criteria of heading 59.03. It does not fall under the exclusions in chapter note 2, and is classified under tariff item 5903.90.20 as it contains man-made fibres.
