Primacor 1436 is an acid-modified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer used primarily in adhesives and coatings. It is supplied in pellet form. Although it is a chemically modified EVA, the vinyl acetate monomer still predominates, and the acid modification does not change the classification under tariff item 3901.30.00, provided the VA content meets the 95% threshold.
