>- Technical grade toluene-2,4-diamine at 98% purity is used in TDI manufacturing. Although it contains minor isomers, the principal compound is toluene-2,4-diamine, which is specifically named in tariff item 2921.51.00. Chapter note 1(b) allows mixtures of isomers of the same organic compound to be classified in this chapter.
