Sodium Ferulate Salt from Mexico
Sodium ferulate is the sodium salt of ferulic acid, a hydroxycinnamic acid with a phenol function. As an inorganic salt of an organic compound, it is classified in the heading appropriate to the organic compound (ferulic acid) under Chapter 29 Note 5(C)(1). This water-soluble powder is used in traditional medicine and cardiovascular applications.
