Sodium Salicylate USP from Mexico
Sodium salicylate is the sodium salt of salicylic acid, a chemically defined organic compound with a carboxylic acid and phenol function. Under Chapter 29 Note 5(C)(1), inorganic salts of organic compounds are classified in the heading appropriate to the organic compound, which is salicylic acid in heading 29.18. This USP grade product is used for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.
