Vegetable Tall Oil Fatty Acids from Japan
Vegetable tall oil fatty acids are a mixture of saturated and unsaturated acyclic monocarboxylic acids derived from pine tall oil refining. They are not separate chemically defined compounds and may not meet the criteria of Chapter 29 Note 1(b) if they are a mixture of different compounds. They are used in paper sizing and asphalt emulsifiers.
