Hydrogenated Soybean Fatty Acids from Germany
Hydrogenated soybean fatty acids are a mixture of saturated acyclic monocarboxylic acids, primarily palmitic and stearic acid, produced by hydrogenation of soybean oil. They are not separate chemically defined compounds but may qualify as a mixture of isomers of the same organic compound under Chapter 29 Note 1(b). They are used in alkyd resins and lubricants.
