Secondary arsenic recovery furnace ash is ash from secondary recovery furnaces processing arsenic-contaminated industrial wastes, used only for final arsenic compound isolation. This ash is a residue containing arsenic, of a kind used for the extraction of arsenic or the manufacture of its chemical compounds, fitting tariff item 2620.60.00. It is not from municipal waste incineration, which is excluded by chapter note 3.
