Hot briquetted iron (HBI) produced by compressing sponge iron from direct reduction of agglomerated iron ore fines into dense briquettes. Although partially reduced, it remains an agglomerated iron ore product for tariff purposes, as it is not yet classified as iron or steel under Section XV.
