Evaporite epsom salt coarse grade consists of coarse crystalline epsom salt extracted from ancient evaporite basins. Before grinding or refining, it is a natural magnesium sulphate heptahydrate, classifiable under tariff item 2530.20.00, as the extraction and sizing are mechanical processes permitted by chapter note 1.
