Crude kieserite crystals are naturally occurring magnesium sulfate monohydrate minerals extracted from evaporite deposits. They are minimally processed by washing to remove surface impurities, which does not alter their crystalline structure, and are therefore classified under tariff item 2530.20.00 as natural magnesium sulphates.
