Perthite chippings are crushed from perthite, a feldspar rock of heading 25.16, and are used in specialty concrete applications. The chippings are produced by mechanical crushing and are not heat-treated or mixed, as permitted by Chapter 25 Note 1. They are classified as chippings of stones of heading 25.16 under this tariff item.
