Slate Building Slabs from Germany
Slate building slabs are roughly cut into rectangular form from Welsh quarries for building cladding and monumental memorials. They are not processed into roofing or damp course slates, which are excluded under Chapter 25. The product is merely cut by sawing, keeping it within the scope of heading 25.16 as other monumental or building stone.
