Rice Grits from Germany

Rice grits are coarse fragments of rice kernels produced by cracking whole grains, with at least 95% by weight passing through a 1.25 mm sieve. They are used in porridges, breakfast cereals, and as a brewing adjunct. As a pure milling product of rice, they meet the starch and ash content criteria of Chapter 11 and are classified under tariff item 1103.19.90 as groats of other cereals.
